微軟本週四在其網站上宣稱，有兩個補丁是用於修補Windows中的安全漏洞的，其中一個漏洞的安全等級屬於微軟安全評級的最高級別，即「嚴重（critical）」。針對Office發佈的補丁程序，所修復的也是「嚴重」級別的漏洞。

微軟的聲明中並沒有提及這些安全補丁是否適用於IE。本周稍早時間，微軟為IE中一個備受矚目的安全缺陷提供了臨時解決辦法，那個漏洞為入侵者大開方便之門，受害人的IE會宕機並且任意代碼得以在其電腦上運行。

微軟曾表示將於星期二為Office軟件提供一個與安全問題無關但仍屬當務之急的產品補丁程序。此外，微軟還將於同一天發佈其最新版本的Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool（惡意程序移除工具）。

而本週四，微軟網站的聲明中對以上事項未見有隻言片語，只是左右它言地講在執行Windows和Office的補丁程序後，需要重啟電腦。

位於華盛頓州雷德蒙（Redmond）市的軟件巨人循例會在它每月第2個星期二發佈安全補丁前，預先透露一些有關即將發佈補丁的相關訊息，以便用戶對安裝補丁程序有所準備。今年6月間，微軟發佈了10個安全通告。


一些利用產品缺陷的惡意網路蠕蟲會在網路中快速傳播，致使有的用戶無從採取任何有效抵禦措施。對於這類安全問題，微軟都將其評級為「嚴重」。

微軟已定於週三美西時間上午11時，透過網絡廣播發佈了有關這些最新安全補丁的消息。

As part of its monthly patching cycle, Microsoft on Tuesday plans to release three security alerts for flaws in Windows and Office.

Two of the security bulletins apply to Windows, and at least one of them is deemed "critical," Microsoft's highest risk rating, the company said in a notice posted on its Web site Thursday. Its Office productivity suite will get one bulletin, also rated critical.

The notice did not specify whether one of the patches will be for Internet Explorer. Microsoft earlier this week offered a workaround for a known flaw in the Web browser that opens the door for intruders to crash IE and to run arbitrary code.

Microsoft said it will also issue a "high-priority" update for Office that is unrelated to security on Tuesday. In addition, that day is tagged for the release of an updated version of the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool, which detects and removes malicious code placed on computers, the company said.

The company gave no further information on Thursday's bulletins, other than stating that some of the Windows fixes will require restarting the computer, as may the Office update.

The Redmond, Wash., software giant provides information in advance of its monthly patch release day, which is every second Tuesday of the month, so people can prepare to install the patches. In June, Microsoft released 10 security bulletins.

It rates as critical any security issue that could allow a malicious Internet worm to spread without any action required on the part of the user.

Microsoft has set a time of Wednesday at 11 a.m. PDT to host a Webcast about the new fixes.

行動中查繳了數百台電腦並關閉至少8台用于進行盜版工作的主要在線發布服務器。被查獲的組織包括RiSCISO, Myth, TDA, LND, Goodfellaz, Hoodlum, Vengeance, Centropy, Wasted Time, Paranoid, Corrupt, Gamerz, AdmitONE, Hellbound, KGS, BBX, KHG, NOX, NFR, CDZ, TUN, BHP，還有很多未經確認的小組。這些小組涉嫌非法盜版了包括《Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith》，《Mr. and Mrs. Smith》，Autodesk Autocad 2006和 Adobe Photoshop在內的無數電影、游戲和軟件，預計價值超過5000萬美元。

互聯網盜版組織“warez”組織嚴密，很難滲透。據悉這次美國FBI自己設置了數個服務器並誘使warez成員在其上存放了大量盜版資料，因而收集了大量證據令行動獲得巨大成功。美國有4名“warez”組織成員落網，包括一名“top site”的管理員，23歲的Chirayu Patel。
